Hive: Best 2-Player Board Game Ever
Technically, Hive is boardless. Use beetles, grass hoppers, spiders, and ants to surround your opponent’s queen and win.
Pros
- Rules are simple and easy to learn.
- Strategy increases with skill.
- Games lasts 10 to 20 minutes.
- Very good quality pieces and carrying case.
- The Mosquito Expansion adds a ton to game play without making it bulky.
Cons
- It’s difficult to play easy on new players. Teach 2 people at once so they can play each other.
Out of all my games, I probably play Hive the most. It’s a great two-player game. Warning! Hive is very addictive.
