Is Twitter Overhyped?

It seems like everyone is talking about Twitter, but according to Google Trends, nobody is searching for it. So there are more people talking than listening.
Don’t get me wrong: I love Twitter! It’s a global conversation made up of 140 character statements. Twitter’s simplicity is elegant, and it’s following is small but dedicated. If you haven’t tried it, then try it.
Here’s my point: I’m a Twitter fan, and I’m tired of hearing about it. Or is it just me?
BTW, RSS is NOT dead; Twitter has (ironically self-imposed) limitations.
